iTouch - splitting albums

Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this atm. The last few 'various artist' type albums I have put onto my touch have 'split' and will not go on as a single album and end up as a huge list :(

Kisstory club anthems used to be as one album, as did Clubland 15 - just put normal Bon Jovi album on and is ok, but Clubland 16 has just split :(

Seems to link with software update x 2 sessions back - any fixes or do I just live with ugly lists?
 
This used to annoy me until I realised what was controlling it.

Highlight all songs in an album, right click, select 'Get Info'.
Tick 'Compilation' if the album has more than one artist and that should do it.

beat me to it, iTunes set to by artist and not albums bums me out
 
Hmmm I do not appear to have compilation option, tick album option and nothing changes grrrrrr
