Just a quick update as i now have camera and lens (50mm f1.5 voigtlander) and all I can say is wow. It reminds me exactly what I love about film cameras and is the complete opposite to my G2. Manual focussing, built like a tank, the click of the aperture ring and selecting the shutter speed, all judged by the two little red arrows in the viewfinder. The viewfinder itself is bright and clear, making focussing so easy and knowing what is outside of your frame as well as inside is a welcome change. I have only had a couple of problems so far. When I initially unpacked the camera I managed not to switch it back to B mode and therefore the batteries were run flat. I also need to change the way I hold the camera as I sometimes, especially when holding vertical, cover up the rangefinder window and find myself wondering where the split image has gone!
I will put ome photos up in the film camera pron thread once I have had a chance to take some.
