That's what I'm worried about.
I think that Capello will be concerned that people think he's not fit to manage, and by using a formation and starting team that we the people have been begging for will make him think he looks weak.
Odds are 7/2 for bets on Capello resigning.
indeed, he's a stubborn man and might just gamble on it, the result if we win anyway is that he put his stamp on the team and showed he wouldn't bow to peer pressure. The result if we don't is he resigns.
Either way he might see it as no choice and that he wouldn't want to manage a team who were perceived to not be fully under his control anyway.
