It gets better at the sunset end of the day, but sunrise will not get earlier until 5th Jan ............... unfortunately for me.

As the days grow longer, the cold grow stronger . . . or something like that.

Mind you, while it is true that we gain something like 20 extra seconds of daylight in the evening from here on, nights will continue to be darker still until the 3rd of January, but I tend not to notice the full effect of the growing daylight until the middle of February onwards.

If God was really that wise we wouldn't have anything to celebrate, he wouldn't have had any kids (y)

Currently dusk happens when I'm at work so I miss shooting at the best part of the day.

I hate winter!! Its cold, wet and dark. It makes me, and I recon most people, feel really moody and the kids can't play in the garden without turning it into a swamp which never happens cos they just want to stay in anyway.

The only good thing about winter is Christmas. I love it, bit of a big kid really. :)

Shopping starts 4pm in Merryhell on Christmas Eve any earlier and it's not a challenge
