Hi! I have a couple of questions for the computer experts on here if you can help. I’ve just bought a new TFT monitor and I was going to get rid of my old CRT. My son has a dual screen set up and has suggested I upgrade my graphics card and do the same. Is there any advantage to having this option when using Photoshop etc?
Secondly does anyone know the simplest way to run a playstation2 through a pc monitor? At present I have to move a portable tv onto my desktop, if the CRT is going to be sat there it would save time and space to use it for my GT 4

Thanks in advance

Mike

I use a dual screen setup at work, and find it extremely useful when using tutuorials as you can have the tutorial open on one screen and your actual work open on the other. Its also useful for having web browser/email/messenger on and then allowing you to do other work without being disributed by pop ups or having to reduce the size of your main application.

If you are going down the dual screen route, I would recommend a product called ultramon http://realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ as it gives you even more feautures.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the Ultramon link rwotton, excellent piece of software.

:thankyou: Guys! it looks like I need a new graphics card then, anyone got any ideas about the Playstation problem? I've read about a VGA box gizmo that sounds like it fits the bill, but I have also seen some negative reports on them; so I'm still confused :bang:

Thanks

Mike
