ISP occasionally drops my connection to one website

Hi all,

When I try to connect to my website, admin CP or any other website hosted by Zenfolio, I sometimes find that my computer won't load the webpage. It gets stuck loading, and eventually will load just part of the page or a version without any stylesheets (white background, black text, blue links, no formatting).
So after long discussions with the great support team at Zenfolio, we concluded it must be my ISP causing a problem.

Because I have tried clearing cache, cookies etc and no change. Using different browser, no change. Even a different computer has a problem.
When it's happening, my phone can still connect via a data network and other people are browsing the site on Google Analytic's realtime stats.

Are there any reasons this is happening to just Zenfolio? No problems with other sites. And most importantly, will my ISP be able to help?
The problem resolves itself maybe an hour or so later.

Thanks.

Sorry you'll have to help me out in simpleton terms there!

It works for everyone else perfectly when this happens to me, which is odd. I've asked others to test.
Your ISP (via the settings on your router) will have a specific set of DNS servers (dns translates a website name to a server ip address).

It could be that one of your ISP DNS servers has a dodgy record for your site.

It would be worth logging in to your router and changing the primary DNS, depending on the router this may be within the dhcp settings or elsewhere. Then reset your machine so that it picks up the new details.
