altho, my 1d falls in to the same week as my 35mm lens so suppose it really could be compensation? altho wife does grumble, or is that a groan?? :cuckoo:
 
If the size of the lens is compensating for something then I'll have to own up to using this lens :naughty:

I only have a 70-300 vr but my 17-55 2.8 would make you say OUCH ! :nuts:

Oh and I'm 6'3" and size 12 shoes,and have big hand's ,but only have a medium size ...........................zoom......:D:D
