Just we now seem to have a few more ALWAYS RIGHT members ;)

A couple of years back we had a happy little crowd, most of whom sadly no longer post,
and we had spam threads where we all posted utter trivia and had fun, someone always complained,
as they do now, and the threads were closed.
We never spammed other threads just enjoy mucking about but as now others thought it wrong wanted
it stopped, those have now gone only to be replaced by the ones demanding OOF is closed

Admittedly i've only been here a couple of years so the height of banter was no doubt before my time, but even so there was still random spam/trivia/utter nonsense threads, people were HAPPY (or those that wanted to join in) although yes i can imagine some were still disgruntled

now it just seems like endless endless moans:(


Oof should be re-named spam/fun/trivia only for happy people:D ( not saying i am happy but stops me going out wanting to kick everyone after coming on here;))
 
I know its ironic moaning about people moaning, but I have noticed the increased moaning and unhappiness on the forum. My only real guess is that it is due to the ever increasing number of members. More people to get on each others nerves :D, and of course those members that seem to thrive on winding people up. You will never keep everyone happy all of the time. Something will always p*** someone off somewhere on the forum. Nature of the beast I suppose.

there maybe more spam than turkey for this Christmas after all ;)
 
Moaning aside, in fairness there are actually only a few that moan, it's just that they moan a lot!! And I have only seen one call for oof to be closed and the answer to that is simple - over my dead body... :thinking: Sure I already heard that somewhere today...

Anyway, yes, there may seem to be much moaning but isn't the way to deal with it bloody obvious? DON'T post in the moaning threads and they die....post in the fun happy threads and they thrive... The biggest problem, and we all do it, is that whilst we may not be moaning ourselves, we can't help but pop into moaning threads to moan at the person doing the moaning. Just STOP IT! :D

Joking aside i agree - although i seem to recall that at the height of the recent banter there were people moaning about the banter and describing the group that liked to have a luagh as 'the clique' - can't please all of the people all of the time.
 
Out of sheer curiosity I have read the entire thread and would now like to know where I send my claim for a replacement keyboard, because after reading the latter portion my current one is now dripping with tea :ROFLMAO:
