i received this email last night and done a bit of googling annd couldnt really find much. so could it be a scam or am i just being paraniod and should i ask for any money for using them if its real thanks

heres the email

Dear Mr. Woods,

I am a producer on a low-budget American TV show, and we are looking to use images of the Zafiri GSI in an episode. Please contact me at your earliest convenience regarding the use of the photos you have posted on Flickr.

Not sure why you think it would be a scam to be honest :shrug:

Base Productions is a genuine company and the contact number checks out, so I'd name my price! :thumbs:

so long as they pay you (before you release the image) and they provide a contract specifying the usage there is no reason to think it's a scam. email back and ask for more details etc

Note the "Low Budget" not "No Budget".....
 
It must be so low budget, they can't spell 'Zafira' :D lol


Unless there is a Zafiri GSI, in which case I'll get me coat :D
 
Find out which images they are interested in, and the usage they require.
 
at least they've shown the courtesy of contacting you. It shows they know the procedures for using images... so they will probably be expecting a response from you along the lines of what Marcel just said. Go for it.
 
Go to Getty images - fond something similar. Look at the pricing options - pitch it accordingly. Cross your fingers
 
Ah. I was hoping the OP was coming back to tell us he'd made a fortune
