Is This worth it?

The transaction does not include any Import Tax / Duty / VAT / Brokerage Fees / Handling Fees.

Take care as the price can shoot up if/when customs comes calling.

I've decided i will not upgrade to another aps-c, but then i don't need the fps.

You'll probably end up paying VAT and a handling fee on it.
It'll be sat in a depot somewhere while you sort the payment out for the above, during which time it can be lost, stolen or damaged.
It's got to travel from Hong Kong, during which time (and distance) it can be lost, stolen or damaged.
If it arrives damaged you've got to send it back to HK. If it doesn't arrive you've got to deal with someone in HK.
The seller has one negative feedback for an incorrectly described item and one for not shipping all the times they were supposed to then ignoring e-mails.

I wouldn't go anywhere near that personally.

The best way is to contact the sellers to help you beat import tax and vat by declaring gift under 40USD. Not every seller is willing to do so, but worth a try:)

I think I'd rather have a 60D and better lenses than a 7D and those lenses.

Don't get me wrong, the 55-250 is a great lens for the money, but it and the other two lenses are a long way from "professional".

Tax evasion is illegal.

But worth a punt ;)

Me personally I would not get that one.

Look Here and get the body only brand new and then get some real good lens to go on the front.

Look at this thread Here and read this on the company

Expect to pay at least 22% customs if they open her up for inspection. Probably still a good enough price altogether?

I paid by BT and got extra 5% off.

Might be worth looking at, as the advert says every little helps

Why did paypal do that??

Probably due to a large amount of money being transferred to overseas account outside of Ebay and they want ID to prove its his account, he's in control of it and made the payment.

AH righty, I think I sent them my ID at some point.

yeah i sent them a photo off my passport and they have verified my account, i have to wait for 5-7 days for the money to be returned back into my account :o(

If ever there was a tale to convince people to buy from reputable UK sellers, this is it.

Why is that, Paypal probably would have done the same if it was amazon or who ever.
Just a glitch nothing more, nothing has gone wrong with the sale just the payment.

First of all, Amazon don't accept PayPal, they use UK credit cards directly. Very sensible. Secondly, I don't see how you can say nothing has gone wrong with the sale. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have your money and you don't have your goods. A hopefully temporary, but undesirable outcome. If you'd bought on Amazon you'd have the goods within perhaps even 12 hours, and already be out there creating award-winning photographs.

Having said that, looking at the stonking 40% saving, it's enough to turn anyone's head. Hopefully it'll all work out in the end.

Which is worth all the hassle in the world at times.

Charity begins at home in my house hold and when I saved a massive £530 buying a lens from panamoz compared with my local shop it has to be worth it.

That is the trouble with the UK at the moment. The stores cannot compete with Internet prices and end up going bump. A shame really, but you're right, who would not want to save money.

Well i got my Money back and bought elsewhere.

Bought the below

Canon 7D
