Is this sharp ??

You would hope that the 80-200 F2.8 Nikon lens would be sharper than the Sigma variant- it would be nice to do a head-to-head test across the aperture range on these lenses to find out?

The word on the street is, (and it wont be nearly as good as seeing a shoot off on TPF) that the Nikon is just going off uber sharp at f/2.8, but is pin sharp at f/4.
I think the app has to be closed down more on the Sigma before it hits the sweet spot....for uber sharp that is.
I think there will be a lot of variation between bodys, lenses & manufactures without pixel peeping to 0.00001 microns, or the thickness of an omeba's nasal hair..
