Is this possible?

I'm guessing this is the right section, but I'm really not too sure!

Basically I've got a bit of an issue arranging my photos..... I'm using some basic software that came with one of my cameras, which arranges my photos chronologically. The problem is that before some of the photos were taken the battery had gone completely flat, and the date and time had been reset, so the camera thinks they were taken at midnight of the 1st January 2000!

So I guess what I want to do is alter the 'date taken' bit of the information in the file.....is that possible? I'm a little neurotic when it comes to organising my photos and it's doing my head in! Cheers!

It is possible to alter the exif data. Not sure how you would do it in the softwere you have though. I use opanda which you can downlaod.

Awesome, thanks a lot, I downloaded the trial version which has restricted functions, but allows changing the date taken! Thanks so much, my obsessive compulsive organising can be fulfilled! Tis a great place this....

you organise away and when your done i have about 30gigs of photos to sort which your welcome to obsess over
