Seems good value if nothing else. Looking for a circa 20" screen for my home office. (Will be used for usual Office stuff and photo editting)

In reality I probably can't justify buying one this month but I always like bargins.

It looks like it only has a VGA connector so may limit it with modern graphics cards / laptops also it seems to have a very narrow viewing angle :-
Viewing angle: 90º (H)/65º (V)

Which could make it carp for photo editing

For photo editing look for a ips panel monitor. What is your max budget?

It seems strange that a new monitor would only offer an analogue input when a lot of graphics cards no longer support analogue output and are limited typically to dvi/hdmi/displayport

Thanks I knew it was worth asking. I'll probably really only have £120 possibly a little more.
Thank you

I have not found that to be true at all

There are loads of graphics cards, high end ones as well, that still have VGA output

My graphics card was bought mid last year and has VGA (as well as HDMI)

I suppose it is only a matter of time before they are phased out though ...

If you could go to £160 have a look at this

You might get it cheaper elsewhere.

Dell screens tend to have good quality stands that allow height to adjust as well as tilt - it can be a bit annoying to have no height adjustment and to have to start using phone books etc to raise your screen!

If I was after a 1080p screen then this 21.5" dell would seem a good choice http://www.pcbuyit.co.uk/dell-ultrasharp-u2212hm-545cm-monitor-dvidp-1920x1080-black-p-1664.html I find that 1080p in larger sizes than 21.5" tends to make the individual pixels look too big.

Is this not an Ultrasharp feature only? I have 2 Dell Ultrasharps, a 24 and 22, both of which have rotation, height adjustment and tilt. Meanwhile, at work we have around 70 various Dell screens, none of which are ultrasharp and none of which have height, rotation or tilt....

The LG IPS Screen mentioned earlier in the thread seems to get excellent review, and at that price it's ridiculously good value!

Thnak you everyone - some useful information. The monitor is going to be fixed on a bracket to a wall above my desk so a stand/hieght adjustment isn't necessary. Space is at a premium on my desk !
