Is this focus good

Doesn't look all that sharp to me. What did you focus on though? I'd imagine that it would be quite a difficult subject for AF to properly focus unless you picked up a hard edge of something.
 
Focused on the word Wash. What else can I test on that will show up sharpness and focus.

Did you use a tripod ? as the shutter is only 1/5 try something in better light to try get the shutter over 1/200 - i usually try to use a barcode on something and try with and without a filer (if you use one)
 
You might want to have a look at this thread Focus/Sharpness it's actually regarding the focus adjustment in a 50D, but moves onwards to general focus/sharpness issues. There have been a couple of other threads about it too - and it seems to come down to a matter of opinion as to the best way to test it.

I thought I had an issue with sharpness, but found that when using flash the issue basically went away - this told me that it was probably my technique, and when using flash I was able to use faster shutter speeds....
