Hi, I ordered a 2gb SanDisk Extreme III CF card from Flash memory (via Amazon) it was to be a back up for my 4gb card that I got with my Camera.

It came today but it doesn’t look like the one in the picture !! The 4gb one I have looks like the one on Amazon but this one looks like an old style or fake !!

I’m not 100% sure about these things so I thought it would be best to ask here before using it.

I hope it's ok as it looks just like all my 2GB cards!
did it come in a little plastic box
with a pouch and a recovery disk?
 
just looked at all my cards
4 have the ESP logo, 6 don't
all from different sources :shrug:
 
I think the newer ones look like the advert, it should be the same speed though. Wayne
 
Sorry I forgot to say :lol: Yes it came in a sealed plastic packet with a pouch/plastic box/disk and paperwork.

I was just concerned because my other card has the ESP logo and different fonts ...... but if you guys have the same card as me then it should be ok.

Just wanted to check as the one pictured on Amazon has the ESP logo.

What does the white writing say along the edge?
 
My new 4gb looks similar, the branding has changed :D I bought mine from amazon too.. i'm confident as it is otherwise the same as my others.
 
Jbob, can you do a photo of the back edge of the card and the back as well as it dose look different from my 2Gb Extreme 3.

Ive tried it in the Camera now and it works fine :D
 
Its possible they have changed their branding, my cards are ~6 months old.
 
your pics look the same as mine
in fact both sets do as I have some of each
the numbers are different, but I'm guessing 0806 at the start might just be the date code!!
 
Yep thats exactly the same as the one i bought 2 months ago - right down to the directional lines in the silver/foil label surround.
