Is this a good deal?

After wanting to get into photography for years I've eventually decided to bite the bullet and start hunting for some kit.

A friend at work had this kit for sale and I was wondering if you thought it was a good deal?

1 Canon EOS 30D (2years old)
1 Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 DC HSH EX (less than 1year old) (it doesn’t work on my new camera)
1 Battery Grip BG-E2
2 Canon Li-ion Battery packs plus charger
2 1GB CompactFlash memory cards
Canon photo software
All relevant cables
All boxed
Cost £500.00 (think this is flexible)


Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

What would you normally expect to pay for this (approx) please?
 
Search eBay for the bits seperately if you want to know roughly how much m8, can't have us doing all the work for you ;)
 
If you don't have it give me his address....I'll be straight round there with the money:lol:
