Edit My Images
Yes
I have been using various different Software applications to edit my photos. I have got the process down to three different software applications.I would like one application to do all of the required editing.

I find adobe PS and LR to cumbersome so dont use them.

I do the following:
1. Convert from raw to Jpeg. NXview
2. Adjust Colour-Bright/Contrast and Crop. FastStone
3.Sharpen (USM) (Batch). FastStone
4.Resize 1600x1200 (Batch). FastStone
5.Watermark flood fill (Batch). FastStone
6.Remove noise (Batch) Noiseware

Is there any software that can do all the above.I would like to embed copyright details into the photos also (batch), so that would be an addition if possible but if not I am prepared to use photoshop for that.Any help greatly appreciated.Thanks.:help:

What is it you dont like about LR ?

I find it a very capable piece of software

All software packages take a bit of time and effort to use and to get to grips with. You're not born with the ability to use them.
You only get out what you're bothered to put in.

As above, Lightroom is to go to software for what you want to do, once you get your hear around how it works it can be as simple or as powerful as you like.

However, if you don't get on with it the nearest alternative is Apple Aperture, which I didn't really get on with, due to it being different to Lightroom.

There is also some capture one software that is similar, but I didn't find it very intuitive and it is nowhere near as common as Lightroom/Aperture so less tutorials etc.

Faststone will do your raw to jpeg conversion too, although that still leaves the noise reduction and batch copyright embedding.

Thanks for that.I have just tried one of my NEF (RAW) files through FastStone and as you say it processed it no problem.I can not see any loss of quality over that of NXview.:)

That is a big plus as the noise removal is not used that much and I only embed copyright on the photos that go off for publishing.

Another vote for lightroom.. I'm not a lightroom patriot by any means but for this type of thing you could get a batch done in a couple of clicks.

Lightroom - I'm primarily a wedding photographer and find it covers over 95% of my needs
