20 minutes of the ITV news and it's nothing but doom, gloom, death and destruction :(

I gave up watching the News years ago, far too depressing for my liking. :gag:

Now I just listen to Chill Radio and let it all float bye.

thereis a silver lining thoug.... even thoug the woollys staff probably wont see it as such, but when woollys did the massive discount all the other big shops panicked about losing sales, so they all had massive sales, so therefore cheaper for everyone

Tea is only a meal on weekends involving sandwiches and if your lucky cakes etc. Generally consumed around 5pm. The only variations on these times would be going to a "Tea Shop" or Tea Party etc.
Dinner is a meal generally involving meat and veg etc. consumed from 5 onwards Monday to Friday.
Lunch is consumed at midday 7 days a week regardless of what it is you eat.
Northerners:cuckoo: Think they know everything.

Good news it's nearly Christmas, I've got my mates retirement do to go to on Friday night and I finish work for a week and a half from next Tuesday.

Well I've got some good news and some bad.

The good news, my niece had a baby boy on Tuesday.

The bad, that makes me a great uncle for the 3rd time and I've hired an 85mm 1.2L from Stewart so there'll be lots of baby pics next week when I get back from visting over Christmas!:naughty::naughty:

Wolves still top of the Championship
Junior daughter back from Wales on Saturday for Xmas
Steam galas on at the GWR after Xmas
10 days off at Xmas and all can be used for photography

I have been watching English TV and there's always good news, for example there's a couple of lovely solicitors who want to help people to get money from your councils because you tripped over something that wasn't supposed to be there (i mean why should you have to look where your going),
but the best part is they don't charge you a penny.

No good news!! bah humbug.

I`ve stopped watching the news, and to an extent stopped reading the papers. They love all this bad news. It drives me insane.

YES WE GET THE SODDING IDEA, WE'RE DOOMED........!:bang:

The only news stuff I look at is the BBC website.
