Is there a plug in for LR 4.4 and Photoshop 6

I would like to use Photoshop 6 as a plug in to Lightroom 4.4

does such a plug in exist

Just checking that you know what a plug in is

It is having the ability to use Photoshop 6 whilst still in LR and using PS on the image that I have in LR ………. click on File - then Plug in - image is opened in PS6, I perform a few actions on it and save it back to LR

just as I do with Silver Efex Pro or Perfect Efex

Is that what you understand a "plug-in" to be or is it something different?

To explain further - I am trying to speed up what I now do manually

My work flow is to use LR to import all my images and perform most of my adjustments

I then export the file to to my Desktop and open it in Elements or PS to perform another few tasks, some of which are (standard) and which I have automated, i.e. created "actions" for …….. I then save the PS/Elements file as a .psd and import it back into LR where I really want to keep it and export it again as a jpeg before posting it to the web …….. it takes time and I could do this quickly if I had the ability to work in PS at the same time as LR without exporting a jpeg as the link between the two programs

You should be able to right click an image in LR and click "edit/open in photoshop".

quite "dim" of me as that's the way I used to do it ……. not sure why I stopped

I use the menu option Photo - Edit in - after sorting out custom preferences
