Yes
...than grass from the first mowing of the season?

Discuss.

Fresh pu.............. ;)

Then again, I get regular fixes of fresh cut grass through the winter since even dodgy temporary greens need a trim every week or 2!

Oh, and Castrol R.

Napalm in the morning?

Oh come on, someone had to...

The bushveld after the first summer rains, Laphroaig by a campfire, a lovely girl wearing Je Reviens, burnt gunpowder and oil from a shotgun's chambers...

Beeswax polish.

How about double bacon?

100 octane Petrol or stronger, you can litteraly smell the potency. It's criminal every time I change fuels at work and have to drain off a gallon to clear the lines. The fuel just gets thrown down a sink and mixed with all the other grades for disposal.

It's been lawn mower-geddon round here the last few days. I even had to do mine, and now the rest of the garden is looking an even bigger mess.
Better than the smell of newly cut grass...........getting up onto Dartmoor and taking that first deep breath.
Failing that I'll settle for bacon or slow cooked lamb. What time's dinner? :)

How about grass cutting from a petrol mower!!! Best of both worlds!!

Stick a capful of R in the tank!

I've done a 42 oz steak in the past, but not sure I could manage that `burger` :puke:
Hmmm steak, Rythre Arms just north of Selby are steak specialist.

32 oz home made chips, onion rings then pudding.

Interesting topic.
I'm going for lunch at the Fat Duck. They send you a questionnaire, one question is what smell invokes childhood memories. For me it's cow cake, the pellets they used to supplement cow feed with. Takes me back to my uncles farm

For me the childhood smell would be the 'mash' my grandad used to boil up to feed his chickens. The thought of it makes me smile.

As for my favourite smell, I'm in the Castrol R camp.
