Is the Sigma 150-600C rain proof?

Going to a safari park on Saturday and think it’s going to rain so the end of my sigma will get wet out the window of the car, will it be okay? Obv if it’s absolutely hammering it down then I probably wouldn’t be taking photos but just wondering like?

No lens is rain proof, at best weather-resistant.
However the use of a plastic lens-coat, or even just a Tesco plastic bag over the lens will help considerably.

The 150-600 C lenses are not weather sealed except at the lens mount.
