Is the canon 600D dustproof?

The reason that iam asking this question is that iam going to a cement factory which means ALOT of dust in the area so i was wondering if the 600D can withstand such harsh environment?
I heard about dust proof casing but unfortunatlly I couldn't find it anywhere. So my question is: is it safe for the camera by itself?
 
Well it's not weather sealed. As for 'dust proof', ever Canon L glass and pro bodies are prone to dust inside them. It's your call at the end of the day. If you can keep your camera out of harms way, then go for it.
 
Improvise. Seal all your seams on the body with gaffer tape like the pro's and fashion a gaiter for the lens with a clear plastic bag and a couple of elastic bands. A clear filter would protect the front element too if the dust is abrasive.
