And does it compliment PS? And, being an enthusiatic amateur, which version would be good for me?

Thanks!

I just acquired noise ninja as a plugin for PS CS4. Does a good job. I tried NeatImage but on balance preferred noise ninja. I'd post a sample, but for som reason I can't post attachments???

when i install it, i get an error message saying the archive is corrupt. any input anyone

Just downloaded it and installed it (on Vista). So the file looks ok to me, maybe try again and the famous old reboot before installing?

Just purchased Noiseaware c£33 - excellent at ISO 800

I've just installed the plugin for NN to PS4 and used it on one of my noisest gymnastics pics. Did a good job with a simple press of the 'apply filter' (haven't read up on how to use it yet) - a marked and noticeable improvement. Not very helpful as I can compare to other noise-reduction software, but it's not something I've felt the need for before (only recently started shooting inside at high ISO). I'll be reaching for it from now on though!

and a quick question - there is no problem installing both noiseware and noise ninja plugins to PS4 at the same time, right? and then just choosing which one to use?

EDIT: Question answered. I've installed both and applied the results to a few photos, and noiseware has produced better results in all cases.
