Yep, another stupid question.
The developer I use for prints has gone a sort of greenish colour. Is this a sign it's past it's prime?

I did a search for this and kept getting pages about companies going Eco friendly, so figured I'd ask here.

Thanks again guys

Possibly, is it taking noticably longer to develop the print, how many prints have you developed with your present mix?

The present mix has done maybe 20 prints, tops, and it hasn't been noticeably slower.
I should clarify, it's only the current mix has gone green, not the concentrate.
My ability to explain goes to pot when I'm on nights heh

Im with you there!! In on nights too, not much to do, thankfully this makes time go a bit quicker! back to your mix, i think you are probably coming to the end of the run for this batch, did you do the 20 prints all in one go? or at different times?

Different batches over the space of a couple of weeks.
To be honest, the data sheet reckoned 24 hours in a tray and it'd be dead... I've been deving a few, bottling, deving a few, bottling etc.

I got another night tonight, so no doubt I'll haunt this place at some point hehe

LOL me too !!

Air contact also has a bearing on the life of your dev, if you can squeeze as much air out of the bottle when you put it back in that will extend its life a little longer.

Excellent, I'll do that with the next batch.
I may be on the irc channel this evening, see if I can persuade anyone to talk hehe
