Is it wrong that I wanted to hug the postman this morning?

What about if he gave me a box containing the following:

Nah its never wrong when he brings gifts like that.

You won't love him when the credit card bill arrives!!!

If he brought me that I'd do his round for him, and give him endless cups of tea, AND A hug.

I'm waiting for my postman to bring my Sigma 10-20 which I bought off Ebay yesterday. It is supposed to be 24hour delivery so fingers crossed for a fun day with the Nikon at Rye harbour tomorrow.

If the postman lets me down however I will polish him off and bury the body with the van. The secret then is to deliver the next few houses mail, that way the last person who receives their mail gets blamed for the disappearance of the postie!

Last time I did this was when a battery failed to turn up on time for my remote control. In hindsight I do think I was a bit harsh on that occasion.

I loved my postman after delivery of my 1DMkIIn, he couldn't walk for a week and filed a restraining order against me, so be careful on the postman loving thing :D:D:D
 
I think I will save that shot of all the kit and keep looking at it as an incentive to get a parcel like that myself!!!! I agree with eeverson.......I need a postman like that aswell. Good luck with your new toys:thumbs:
 
Whoopee! I was reading this thread when my postman rung the doorbell for me to sign for something. I am now sitting here admiring my new Sigma 10-20! It is bigger and heavier than I expected and feels great. I cannot wait to try it out.:love:
 
nice pressie. I don't want to cuddle my postman I just throttled him. I'm sick of him if he had two brain cells working he'd be dangerous. He continually tries to cram everything through the letter box. Caught him this morning trying to cram two wedding albums through that were supposed to be signed for. :bang:

I am so jealous!! And it's not like you can even invite me round so I can have a gander anymore... I think I might just send this pic to my hubby.

What a great looking set of gear :thumbs: It certainly puts my p&s Ixus in its place!

Hopefully that will be me next year, although I doubt I will be able to afford that much gear in one go!

Just Hoya HMC UV(0)'s for protection. Got to try and remember to use lenscaps too :( got very sloppy with that!

Hehehehe, yeah lens caps are defo a good idea to keep attached unless of course your using the lens :thumbs:, especially on glass like you have just got :)
 
did you get it all from kerso? and i want it all. so which box did you open first and which lens did you try out first.

and can we have a photo of everything out of the boxes :)

No, I got it all from Warehouse Express, as Kerso doesn't do 12 month interest free credit :( I think I opened the camera first ;) not sure which lens I tried first, they were both off and on all day :p

I will take a shot of it out of the boxes ;) doesnt look quite as impressive somehow though :(
