Is it time to DNA dogs?

Why not add a designated peeing post in the place of the dead shrub. A bit of electricity wired up to it and I'm sure the dogs would soon learn (being somewhat brighter than their owners).

Trust me I have thought of all permutation on that theme :D including a p***ing post and an honesty box with a note "replacement shrub fund" :D
 
never mind the dogs what about the bl**** cats. My neighbours two cats use my back lawn as a toilet and it is disgusting. Have tried all sorts. I guess electrifying the lawn isn't allowed.

Anyone tried those sonic deterrents for dogs / cats ?

Hose pipe. Labour intensive but works
 
Hose pipe on the owners would be much more efficient than the dogs. Mine quite enjoys a shower.

Water pistol. More accurate than a hose and easier to have at hand when needed. Ours now dumps under the tree at the back of the garden rather than in the flower beds and we rake it up and bin it from time to time.

I don't have a cat.
Doesn't stop other people's moggies wanting to take a dump at the base if my bamboo.

They don't like being jet washed ;)
 
By the time you've got a hose turned on (let alone plugged a jet washer in etc.) pussy's pooed, buried and is looking smug atop the fence!
 
Keep a loaded supersoaker by the backdoor.
