Scoop it up and put it on your rhubarb,it's far better than custard.![]()
The real issue is horse poo and lots of it...
Whatever happened to white dog s*** ?
would say yes definitely. Not just because of the dog poo issue but for more serious incidents ie dog attacks on sheep etc being able to quickly identify dangerous dogs would be excellent and save councils & police a fortune.
is identifying dangerous dogs and issue for the police now then? for that matter how much of an issue is dog attacks on livestock?
Not until it's rotted down for about a year, it'll kill anything otherwise.Scoop it up and put it on your rhubarb,it's far better than custard.
Yes it's a big issue, dogs are used in a lot of wildlife crime ie badger baiting, hare coursing etc. People train fighting dogs by killing cats and livestock & fighting dogs are a weapon so removing them from the streets is very important. Also if you look at the cost of replacing a sheep etc killed by a dog of a lead there's financial implications too!

You could always couple it with a "shoot on sight" policy for unregistered dogs. That would encourage participation.I agree removing dangerous dogs is very important, but this won't help. All that will happen is responsible dog owners will register their dogs and nothing else will change

Hand me my revolver. I'm going for a walk in the woods. You know the answer to that question. You just hope to preserve the last of your sanity by not vocalising it
In light of the rising frequency of human/grizzly bearI'm back. There was a bear who didn't want to be disturbed.
In light of the rising frequency of human/grizzly bear
conflicts, the Montana Department of Fish and Game
is advising hikers, hunters, and fishermen to take extra
precautions and keep alert for bears while in the field.
We advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on
their clothing so as not to startle the bears that aren't
expecting them. We also advise outdoorsmen to carry
pepper spray with them in case of an encounter with a
bear.
It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear
activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference
between black bear and grizzly bear poop.
Black bear poop is smaller and contains a lot of berry seeds and squirrel fur.
Grizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells like pepper spray.
I believe that in the field, is a generic American term for not in the town, just to be pickyHe did say he had gone to the woods![]()
Any Morris dancers on here should be safe then.
Brightly coloured party foodGrizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells like pepper spray.
Is it an offense to not walk a dog? In the 2 years i've lived here i've seen my neighbour walk the dog 3 times ( i work from home so here all day)
Any suggestions?
Just don't forget to tape a long stick to the barrel and hang s sausage on a string from the end. Otherwise shoot a dog with a revolver could be quite challenging.Hand me my revolver. I'm going for a walk in the woods.
This council is taking a slighty different approach

Some twit left a bag of dog poo outside the gate of my children's nursery.![]()
What a bunch of muppets, let's do that for all violations that haven't happened yet shall we.This council is taking a slighty different approach

better than parents smoking at the gate though
Best get used to putting up with that a bit more, since they can no longer enjoy their fag on the way to school![]()
yes they can
Web cam?Is it an offense to not walk a dog? In the 2 years i've lived here i've seen my neighbour walk the dog 3 times ( i work from home so here all day). The garden is full of s*** she obviously hate picking it up. The poor dog runs out on the street when she comes home in the evening, no doubt desperate to relieve itself. I'm yet to catch them in the act but am pretty convinced the regular mess in the street is them. I do not know how to deal with this. We have a good relationship but something needs to be done.
Any suggestions?
Yes, if they walk....but walking parents (and their precious progeny) are a rare breed.![]()
no if they drive, and most parents actually walk their kids to our school
Ok I'll bite.
How will they legally still smoke in the car on the way to school with their horrors in the car?
there is no law to stop them
You know what, I believe that it didn't even register with that guy. I see so many diffy people about, or playing in their phone all the time when walking the dog or chatting on the phone. No different then when they are with their children. There is no interaction or interest. So the first reaction is very human like as Shaggy put it very well in his song "It wasn't me". Even when caught red handed as they honestly "weren't there".Not quite the same, but it shows the mentality,
I have a line of small shrubs at the bottom of my front garden, that boarders a pavement.
They are quite slow growing and have ( mostly) only been in a year. the end one, next to my drive is turning brown and dying due to dogs taking a leak up it.
I just happened out side the other afternoon, and a guy was stood at the end of my drive, while his dog p***ed up the front of the shrub,
it then came round the back of the shrub, onto my garden, and p***ed up the other side.
I asked him what the hell he thought he was doing, nothing was the reply, well do something and stop your dog from p***ing up my shrub then!
He proceeded to completely deny it, until I told him that I was stood there for half a minute or so, and then he just played the "I'm ill" card.
WTF that had anything to do with it I don't know. ( but still never admitted it)
So if you can't get them to admit p***ing up a shrub when caught red handed, you've no chance of getting them to pick up the crap!
That was my thought tooYou know what, I believe that it didn't even register with that guy
Nothing at all, there are plenty of lamp posts to choose from, rather than kill one of my screening shrubs.Ps. What is wrong with a dog having a p***?
The bags all got nicked![]()
