Do you happen to have one with English subtitles for me? I would love to know what's being said.
I noticed that when I watched it, the CC subtitles are almost gibberish.
Sorry

And a real classic it is toogot me checking for the 'Four handles' sketch,
That's great thanks, the subtitles on this one is much better, and thinking about the passing away of the late Ronnie Corbett got me checking for the 'Four handles' sketch, and it's cool to get to see the whole clip.
I dunno, I think there are peculiarities of British English pronunciation that are just as bad. For example, where I'm from (Southend in Essex) you probably wouldn't pronounce the double T (butter is bu'er), and what happens to the L in milk I really don't know.It always makes me laugh to hear them say mirror. They seem to miss the middle rrs out and go for meor.
I once saw a video on youtube of a lady teaching immigrants into America how to pronounce English; she was telling them the correct way to pronounce the double t in words such as bottle and battle, was as a 'd'.
Something along these lines, I would expect:And in the coroner's court they "pronounce the corpse dead". How does that work?

So just over a year later we have the definitive answer?
