is it just me......

I've made friends just being out and about with the camera. I'll always give people time [despite how some may feel about my online persona, I'm actually rooted to the earth in the flesh] - unless they get really annoying, and try telling me what's what. Then it's "good luck, have to be ... elsewhere" ...
 
People only seem to talk to me when I have a large lens attached.

Whenever I have something that goes to 400mm I can't get a minutes peace but less than that people don't seem to say anything.

I like it when I have my compact and some people look at me with their DSLR's like "heh- you can't get anything with that!!!"
