Worst incident of memory loss I have ever had was when I arrived home from work and the wife asked where the kids were, I was about to ask her what she meant when, under a deep inhalation of breath I realized I had forgot to collect them from my parents.........35 miles away:bonk:
 
drove home from work and stopped outside the local shop , at the end of ourstreet, for a mars bar or summat.
buys the goodies and proceeds home .
when i walk up the drive , i wonder why my car isnt parked on the front...........erm.............where,ve......................... i..........marsbar ........
oh b******s.
walks back down to shop to retreive car. d,oh.:cuckoo::bonk:
 
I went into Subway to buy a sandwich, paid for it then walked out the shop without said sandwich, much emarasment when going back in to pick it up.
 
Drove into multi storey, parked car, got out, went towards lift wondering who had their stereo on loud.............
oops, not only left stereo on, but car unlocked and engine running:lol::lol::lol::lol:

On a more serious note, once walked into WH Smith picked up a magazine and folded it under my arm while I looked at the cd's then, satisfied there was no cd's I wanted to buy walked straight out the shop without paying for the magazine. I did not realise this until I was halfway up the high street. I then calmly walked back in to the shop and paid for it.
Reality soon set in after paying for it and for the rest of the day I kept thinking what if.....................:eek::eek::eek:

That would have been a worse example of memory loss than just forgetting the kids!!.

This type of lapse could be nothing to worry about at all if it occurs on the transition from the top stair to the landing.

However, if it occurs as you enter the "boudoir" to be confronted by the love of your life reclining seductively on the bed.....it is definately more serious.
