Yes
I like to try lots of lenses bodies etc, so I tend to buy a few bits n' pieces here and there and when I get something I really like I have onto it...

Such as my 1D mkII N and my L lenses. I recently had the pleasure of using a Tamron Macro lens and liked this, but fancy trying a Canon variety one, so now on the look out for one and sold the Tamron one on TP to an excellent buyer.

Anyway, inbetween buying my new toys, I try and sell some on through the TP forum. I never sell anything I would consider to be less than mint as I'd like others to receive, what I would like to receive if I buy off the forum.

Cutting to the chase....

I have noticed of late some peeps ask lots of questions about lots of things for sale, some make offers and then never actually buy anything! Is it me or is that bizarre?

Imagine going to a double glazing sales unit and asking lots of questions about them, what locks do you do? What colours can you get them in? etc etc then the salesman asks "Can we visit and give you a quote sir?" to which these people would reply..."oh no, I live in a caravan/cave/motorhome!!!"

LOL just something I'd observed in the last couple of weeks!...

Cheers

Rob

I work in the motor trade there are a lot of people who appear to be like that :D

To an unexperienced sales person (in my trade at least) there are a lot of window shoppers, to an experienced salesman/sales manager there are a lot of sales people not doing there job right...

There are people who spend their free time viewing the interiors of houses they have no intention of buying.

I had that when selling our last house. A woman called unannounced and said she was interested in buying it., but I could tell she just really wanted a nosey around.
She had the fastest showaround in history = 7 minutes in and out.
She phoned the estate agent and was very indignant insisting she really was a genuine buyer. Ballcocks!
The estate agent asked if she wanted to make an offer then, she declined :D

I have a neighbour who does it so much that it is beginning to look like Compulsory Obsessive Behaviour Disorder. Trouble is that he insists in boring everyone with the details.

I can do on Micra lol (heavy discount that is lol)...

You would be surprised how many people we get looking for Navara's for 5-6k inc. VAT!

whenever I put a car up for sale I get loads of people asking questions to which all the answers are positive then thay say I'll come and have a look never to be heard of again.

I did 1471 once and rang a guy back after he'd said he was on his way round when he hadn't shown up in 2 hours, he said he couldn't find the house so I offered to meet him, he then said he'd bought another car when he couldn't find mine

My theory is it's Andy from Little Britain with nothing else to do.
