a couple of years ago I bought a Canon 1d mkiii which came with two genuine batteries and an aftermarket one.
The aftermarket one wasn't up to much (didnt last long on a charge) but both the genuine ones were fine. Not long after I bought it one of the genuine batteries decided to pack up and wouldn't charge so I splashed out and bought another genuine one.
Late last week I put both batteries on charge and the newest one is completely dead, no signs of life at all, It wont charge up or power the camera up. I cant believe that two professional standard battery packs have died on me, surely its not a coincidence,or are they not as reliable as they are made out to be?
So now I'm off to the Moto GP at Silverstone tomorrow with one battery.
