Hi,

I reserved one of them special offer 8GB CF cards from jessops to be collected today. Price was £22 which i thought was very good.

I got to the till , told them i had something reserved and she grabbed it from the back. The lady said "Ok thankyou , thats £5.50 please." , i said "what???" , the lady said "oh we've reduced stuff even further now" I offered to pay the £22 as i felt kind of guilty but the lady said there was no way of overriding the till!

Is it any wonder this company is in such a state??????? WHY R3EDUCE SOMETHING THAT A CUSTOMER HAS ALREADY RESERVED AND WAS HAPPY WITH THE PRICE?!
 
But then if you did pay £22 for it and then got home and realised that on the same day of purchase they were now £5.50 surely you would go back and ask for a refund of the difference? I know I would.
 
:lol: complaining over being given a 8gb for a fiver!
How about I buy it off you for the 22pounds? :p
 
DOnt know how as they arent on the website?

The other thread about this has a few others who got em for £5.50

Hi Mate

I would very very strongly recommend you phone the branch first before going to pick up - I reserved 2 last week, did a long trip to find out it was a computer clitch - to say I wasn't happy was an understatement :thumbs:

Definitely could save you grief - same happened to me last week.

thats how reserve and collect works, the flip side is you can reserve something on offer for eg 4.99 instead of 9.99 and go to collect the next day to find offer is finished and they want 9.99.. like the lady said no way of overriding till..
