Is flickr broken for anybody else? Or what is this?

Uploading was fine last night but not tried tonight. I have heard of people having troubles though this evening with it.

The auto upload had to be turned off when you first logged in. Got to be said that it isn't a massive leap of imagination to think people might actually use the service in the manner Yahoo clearly want and lay on some more servers for launch.

Just checked the app on my photo, auto uploade i0s off so I don't think it's uploading anything by default.

Same on Android, don't know where the notion that it is turning on everyones Auto Upload came from as it certainly is not the case

For a fresh install it does ask you if you want to Auto Upload during the installation, but just click no, easy as that

The only thing the App update did for me was to turn notifications back on (which were previously off), but that is all

Flickr always seem to have issues whenever they do a major update............ you think they'd have learnt by now

same here cant upload a single image.will just stick them on viewbug for now

Viewbug looks better than Flikr. You can easily switch between layout styles. Unlike Flikr that only has one fixed stupid layout.

Ha, major typos there! "photo" should have been "phone" and "i0s" should have been "is", mine is Android too.

viewbug is fine up to a point. but you cant retrieve your own images so its purely for display purposes, tring to make the odd sale and entering there competitions ( which are mostly based on how many friends you can get to "like" an image ( typical popularity rather than quality competitions which annoy me cos i have no friends!! )

Glad this isn't just me having issues. Apparently they are having 'intermittent upload issues'. Their definitiion of 'intermittent' apppears to be different from most peoples.

Just tried to upload 3 large (c. 15MB) images and they went up fine.

Just to update, I was able to upload circa 300 images last night after midnight, but only in batches of 20. Very slow and frustrating but better than nothing.
