Yes
I'm trying to upload images from the weekend. I have about 500 to upload but I can't get past the first 50 as I get the below message.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and my upload speed is around 12mbps. It tries to upload but stops at the 4th image and this pops up.

It worked fine before they updated it. So not only do I not like the latest update, it is also broken! They're not making me wish I didn't cancel my pro membership :(

Same here. Spent hours and can't get a single pic up.

Well thanks to flickr being pants I have just discovered inpernity. Stupid name but looks nice.
I've just signed up to them. We'll see how good they are.

Apologies for the spelling mistake, that's Ipernity, for anybody wondering :)

Maybe flickr has finally had its day. I've been reading a lot of negative feedback this afternoon.
I can't find the bb code to grab on Ipernity.

joined ipernity a year or more back, but theres a limit on number of images unless you sign up for a "pro" account. doesnt seem to get nowhere near the hits as flickr.
might have a look at irista ( by canon but you dont have to be canon user )
20gb of storage space free which is better than a kick in the teeth.

well the irita uploader is fast and you can do 30 images at a pop, so thats a plus straight off. just waiting to see layout once ive finished uploading and if you can share/ tag etc. but so fat so good

I had a problem loading pics on the new Flickr website over the weekend. Like the OP the upload was stalling after about 5 photos. There was an option then to go to the old design and the images loaded immediately. Maybe worth a try as it worked for me.

Go to the first upload page (black upload page) and up in the top right hand corner there is an icon for the old uploader, use that and hopefully it should work.

Just for the record, I've deleted my account (twice) with Ipernity. I could only find the sharing ability with Face@rse, t***ter and Google. Pish, and I told them so.

Flickr have just announced the following
The above quote is a clickable link to the page on their Help Forum if you want to keep an eye on any updates

Absolute arses! It is not DEMAND from users, they are turning on AUTO UPLOAD by default with their new app, meaning users whole libraries being uploaded WITHOUT CONSENT.

Cock sockets.

And how stupid of us to expect a PHOTO SHARING website to have the potential to upload large amounts (or even ANY) of data over a weekend.

Cretins.

:D:D:D:D:D Cock socket. I like that one, never heard that before. Brilliant.

Ive not had a problem, i actually quite liked the new style of flickr. Not tried uploading more than one picture mind you. I had a little problem with displaying the groups I'm in but I'm sure it will all get sorted soon.

That Irista is a load of [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER] too. You can only share with Face@rse, Flickr and Google. WTF:rolleyes:

They have new been sacked as well.

Just managed to upload 2 images. But had trouble tagging them.

Irista is not very clever,I have no use for it,Unfortunately Flickr is still the best for my needs,I have a Photobucket account but don't use it.

Yeh, me too. I stopped using Photobucket because the loss of quality when posting on the forum was terrible. I have noticed a decline in the IQ when using Flickr recently too.

If you download the old Flickr Uploadr for windows (version 3.2.1), then that seems to be working for uploads, don't try the new BETA one though as that just seems to crash

I have just spent the past 2 hours trying to upload 2 shots, and finally seceeded with the Flickr Uploadr

The new auto tagging feature is pretty impressive though (Tags BETA)

That 500PX looks s*** too. I can't find a share button there either.

Not had any problems uploading, must be a bloke thing, you guys are just useless :p

If whole libraries are being uploaded from people's phones by default that could prove rather interesting!

Glad to be of service! :D

I've signed up to Ipernity and Irista but not had time to try them properly yet. Still gutted about flickr really, was looking forward to getting all my photos up.

Oh wel...

Just checked the app on my photo, auto uploade i0s off so I don't think it's uploading anything by default.
I recently loaded Flickr onto both my and my wife's phone. In both cases it asked if you wanted it to upload every time you took a picture, but the default setting was on.
