Yes
Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies) is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1"; that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Adolf Hitler or his deeds, the point at which effectively the discussion or thread often ends.

I have noticed lately not just on TP but in general around me that a lot of discussions eventually leads to Brexit if the discussion goes on long enough.

This thread isn't entirely serious or intended to discuss the merits of Brexit (or lack thereof). Just something I noticed recently.....

You some kind of forum nazi? :exit:

If I even say the B word I get banned so. :exit:

I don't know, I just find that when anyone starts talking about brexit I just have to laugh (or cry)

There are a lot of parallels between 1932-3 and now:mad:. Not saying it’s the same, history doesn’t repeat exactly. (Yes, I realise that’s a double Godwin :).)

Good one!

But in all seriousness I hope not, no thanks to history repeating.

I don't know. I have no interest in what anyone else thinks about Brexit.
