IR ND and other filters

Ok so now i got the bug and like the look of some infra red stuff, but dont know if the fujis5600 can take them, anyone know? I put the camera in a dark room and held the tv remote down to see if it got anything but no, but dunno if thats as i dont have a IR filter.
Also ND and Nd Graduated filters, If i was to buy one which should i get, and where would you use a ND filter instead of a grad filter?

You'd use an ND filter to darken the whole shot where a grad would darken only part of it (i.e. the sky) so same job different situations.
