Right, im currently using Handbrake but its been playing sill buggers! For one thing, the only way to batch encode is to add each file ONE AT A TIME!! iv got a load i want to do.. but even when iv added them all, the files wont upload to my ipod! something is going wrong, it works fine if i do them one at a time..

Is there another encoding program that will do what it says on the tin? iv had enough of this one...

You can try format factory, converts pretty much anything to mp4. It can be a bit slow at times but it does the job.

Thanks jo, is it for the Mac? and will it batch process?? i'll go have a lookie see..

If I remember correctly, it does batch processing. I used the windows version so I'm not sure if they have a mac version. I believe videora works on the mac but never used it so not sure if it will do batch processing. Hope that helps!

oooh! that sounds great Matty!! i think i'll have a look there first..

Thanks guys..

can you download the VLC app to ipods?

If you can then you can load files straight into it via iTunes with no conversion required.

The blurb says its a remote player, says it'll STREAM to your ipod from itunes on your putta..

Video Monkey works a treat, loads all the files anc converts them, AND they play on the ipod... just one small problem... NO SOUND!!!! lol..

As I said above, any video convertor has never let me down yet, it's free and really easy to use.
