My Grand daughter was getting into her car, when she dropped her Ipod
resulting in a broken screen. She asked her friend at college, who works part time for Apple the cost of the repair. She was quoted almost the cost of a new one.
So with the thought of having nothing to loose, I ordered the parts from China £17, and have go myself.
The parts arrived, I found a tut on YouTube, after about 90 minuets,
I had it all back together working perfectly.
Moral. Don't be afraid of having a go yourself, it could save you a lot of money.
