Well Guys

You've had the update a wee while now, has it addressed all your niggles from the 2.0.0 release?

I'm still getting that odd screen jumping business when posting a message if the screen is zoomed in, and I still get some error screens from Safari saying that the server has stopped responding.

Also, can a 3G owner check something for me with the GPS?

If I open the maps, it'll get a gps lock and as long as it's in a 3G area it seems to scroll the map and keep the GPS position marker on screen, but it won't do that if there is a route :suspect:

Anyone else found that?

so none of you iphone owners are having niggles still?

:'(

I think reception is worse on mine since the upgrade. I seem to get more crashes, and sometimes things don't download on email.

I get the image has not been downloaded screen a fair bit, there's usually a box at the bottom (off the screed) that you can click to down load the remaining data.

should have bought a viewty

Haven't tried a route with gps yet but I did notice terrible gps lock - or total absence of a gps lock - in parts of London yesterday. You can never get a gps signal when you most need it.

I've had a problem with some emails not downloading. They do have huge attachments (4mb +) and I don't know of a way to re-try the download. Can anyone help?

As for your other problems, DF. See a doctor.

Blue

Sometimes marking them as unread and then going back into the mail will grab the data.....it's usually if your in a cruddy signal area when you first try and down load it.

i've had 8mb files come onto my fone with no probs.

The gps can be funny.....it showed me driving across a house !!!

i've found the GPS to be more accurate for me - now it can differneciate from one side of the road to the other.

I still get the hanging when clicking contacts for the first time, but then its ok (until next reboot - must be caching the contacts )

Slightly better battery life though :)

C'mon, lets be honest, nobody bought an iphone cos they thought it would work properly, its the price you pay to be part of a faddy clique..

:D

Isn't is about time you stopped mincing your words and told us what you really think Joxby?

I've not had any new problems since downloading the update, the main niggle I had was coming out of an application then writing a text message, the input got quite slow, but now that I've learnt to close the applications fully (long press on the home button) that doesn't seem to happen...
