iPhone replacement battery

The battery on my 3gs is on its last legs so I have been thinking of replacing it. I'm told it is £100+ to get apple to replace, so was thinking of DIY and was wondering if anyone had experience of this. There are lots of videos on youtube which seem helpful but i'm wondering about supplier of the battery.

Any help is gratefully received,

I've changed one on a 3G so I assume that'll be the same as a 3GS, i just brought a new battery from eBay.

Fairly straight forward but you do have to basically dismantle the whole phone to get at the battery and there are some delicate connectors in there, if you're not confident with it i'd leave well alone.

I don't know but if you find a good place let me know as I should probably be looking at getting a new battery.
