iPhone for sale on Facebook

There is a brand new and sealed iPhone for sale on my local facebook marketplace, I fancy it but nervous about buying from there!
Could I get caught out somehow? What are the pros and cons? I'm assuming they want cash

If the want cash go see it and collect in person. ( take a very large friend)

I've bought and sold stuff on Facebook (LOCAL Marketplace) with no problems whatsoever. ALWAYS face to face.

EDIT: However, I sold a lens once to a chap who had bought a phone on Marketplace and it turned out to be a fake!!

It's a risk however you do it. It could be genuine. I won a Playstation (brand new and sealed) in a raffle last year and sold it on Facebook so it's not necessarily a scam. Just be careful and do it face to face.
