iPhone app that let you know nearby place to photograph?

I saw somewhere an app where it would show (via a map) other locations near you that are worth photographing. Anyone got, heard or know of a good app that would do this? I do find searching for apps almost impossible as there are SO many.

There's one called shothotspot which I've just got,I've not had chance to go out & use it yet but that works on a map..worth a try.! Hope it's of use to you.

There is also an app called ShootLocal but I don't think many people are using it yet.

This is half the problem. ShootLocal is great, but without a massive installed base you're not going to see much - it's a shame something hasn't come out that has really caught on.

If anyone has an app that does have good numbers I'd love to hear about it as well!
 
Not sure about iOS, but on Android I've got Google Now to alert me whenever I'm near photographic places of interest. Very cool feature and I'm guessing that Google Search for iOS has something similar :)

This is a great idea, not sure if they have an equivalent in iOS.
 
Could be an project for the TP community to put together ? Wouldn't be a massive job ;)
