iphone 7 v D300

I think these articles are clickbait and nothing more.

As someone else commented, my ten year old point and shoot that's worth about £50 could also take the same photos.

I'm sure they would both get burned by a Samsung S7 ;)
Indeed the Samsung result would be explosive, might be a bit over exposed and over saturated ;)

It's the Note 7 that explodes though.

Try telling that to the airlines ;) but more to the point it's a joke ...

Don't get me started. My S7 underwater photos were amazing but now my phone refuses to charge due to moisture in the charging jack.

I disagree about the clickbait. I've certainly wondered about smartphone quality but my own phone isn't very good and I daren't use my GF's iphone incase I break it :D so I found the article genuinely interesting.

I feel your pain. I got the S6, and though I know it's not water resistant, it got some water splashed on it and completely bricked :/ It was a great phone up to that, the camera on it was very impressive for a phone. Not covered by warranty :( - I imagine yours would be though, as it's supposed to be water proof/resistant, right?

Cam phones have come a very long way, and many of them are impressive. but even the better ones can't stand anywhere close to larger sensor cameras, let alone high end dslr. Try pushing phone cam images in PP to the limit, view them at 100% ... eurgh. Also this is a €1000 phone, I think you can get a D300s now for less than 1/3 of that.
