Hello,

the battery in my 4s seems t deplete very vert quickly, massively so when just on 3g but less when on wifi - but to the point that it will easily drain in half a day without using it.

So, has anyone replaced the battery themselves on one and its gone alright? I've looked up plenty of tutorials and it seems straightforward.. but then again, we just got a flat pack wardrobe the other day and I gave up as the pieces didn't look correct when I assembled it, so don't know if its worth doing or just stick it out until i get my 6 plus back. I know its only about a 10er for a new battery... any advice please, ladies and gentlemen!

Replaced the battery on a 4 and 4s a while back, with straightforward care it is a relatively simple procedure ... I just followed a youtube video.
Look out for a battery that comes with the little tool kit for the screws and to lift any parts/connections :)

I sent my wifes away a few years back and it came back mint and better than new for £32 all in.
If you are not confident just post it off

Hmm they don't look too bad really, I'm still toying with doing it myself I just don't know!

I know but that's a lot of dollar and it's only going to be my spare phone you see - but I hate having something that doesn't have a great battery at the same time!

Whilst it could be the battery, don't dismiss a rogue cell mast. I had this when near Heathrow once. It would drain the 3G so badly I had to switch to 2G. A month later all was back to normal.
