iPhone 4 released in the states

I'll definitely be getting one. Apparently O2 are doing a special deal for current iphone customers to upgrade mid contract.
 
yeah I might when my upgrade comes around, nice to see they have upgraded the camera and included an LED flash :)

they've sorted out MMS too, one of the things that put me off the iPhone 3Gs

hopefully apple have de restricted the bluetooth :thinking:
 
i think they have, you can use a bluetooth keyboard with it :)
 
glad i didn't renew my iphone contract the other month now :D
 
Local Orange shop confirmed 24th June for availability. No details on price/ exchange etc.. Will wait and see.
 
Vodafone are quiet on the times. O2 have released details of upgrades
 
I've posted in OF but will repeat here as you guys maybe able to help :D

I tried to upgrade my iphone on the O2 website, not to actually upgrade but to get a renewal date to see how much extra I would have to pay after getting an email from them regarding the 4G :D

Instead of telling me I couldn't upgrade until x date I recieved an upgrade code to my phone, does this mean I am due an upgrade so therefore should be paying less to upgrade???

I didn't think my renewal was up yet? Can't remember when the 3GS was launched so can't work it out lol...
 
3GS was june last year from what I remember....
 
When I contacted Vodafone first off, and enquired as to upgrading to the 4G, I was told I would be sent a link. When the email arrived, I quickly clicked the link, only to find they wanted to tie me for 18 months on a 3Gs

Special deal ? 20quid per month left on your contract... Hope it near the end ! :eek:
 
no wonder a lot of iphone 3g/3gs are selling here on TP and ebay :lol:

They want £300 off me. Think I'll wait and see what they are in the apple shop first.
 
Mine aint up for renewal til january me thinks, another 6 months.....they want £120 per month according to O2's website!! :O

Not too sure how true it is, but apparently, any contract paying below £45 per month will be limited to 500MB data! :(
 
The iPhone 4 o2 deal is not good value at all. They now charge for all MMS messages instead of including them in the text allowance (4 texts = 1 MMS) No doubt this is because they expect to be able to gouge people using the new camera capability.

The data caps are poor too. Very expensive compared to the old contracts.

I'm on the monthly iPhone simplicity plan which looks like being withdrawn.

Time to look elsewhere although I think all providers are going to rip off iPhone users.
 
I've got to wait until next year for my upgrade to come around with orange :bonk:
