iphone 4 problem

Hi, just had a problem develop with my phone. I can access all functions except the phone directory. It opens on the 'recents' page and I cannot scroll it or get off it, its has totally froze.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do a backup, in itunes, then restore.

I get this from time to time with 'contacts', have to switch completely off then back on.

Switching off and back on fixes most IT and phone related issues.

Had the same, switched off and on and all was fine
