gary's iphone4 tip of the day..
Buy iphone4 unlocked from apple for £500. Separately buy o2 simplicity contract 12months, £15/month, 300 mins, 1GB data, unlim text and get £100 quidco cash back. Stick it in your iphone4 and save a £140 over the equivalent iphone contract, and not be stuck with it for 24 months, and have an unlocked phone!

The iphone 4 uses a micro sim so im not sure if you will be able to use the simplicity card. Unless they do it in a micro sim also. Or possibly by trimming the card to the size of a micro sim

i'm trimming my P+G sim card until i order simplicity

oh and you get 3% quidco from apple too.. £15 (generous)

I don't think iPhone 4 is on quidco at the min :

Apple are paying cashback on the iPhone 3GS but not on the iPhone 4.

grrrr to them

I should have worked me prices out sooner and pre ordered for release day :( got to wait 3 weeks for delivery now unless one of the 2 local stores I have put me name down for gets one sooner :)

Where do you get 1GB data from?

From what I've seen of the tariffs they're 500mb per month, and you can pay a fiver for an additional 500mb or a tenner for an additional 1gb.

Am I missing something somewhere?

Is 1gb of data enough on an iphone? Isn't part of the point of it having unlimited internet?
This is part of a new quota limit- it did used to be unlimited (but capped for fair usage) but they have now cut is back to 500mb average due to 'network strain' aka "we want to charge you for bolt ons".

It only applies to data sent and received over the movie network, not wifi/cloud etc.

I've been using my iPad for nearly a month now & have used 100Mb, that's for browsing/email NOT YouTube or streaming
