When did the software update for iphone launch?

I haven't sync'd mine for about a week :D
 
Launched three days ago. If you use a jail broken device, don't update as always :)
 
just plugged iphone in today to put one 2 tracks and its updating now, taking ages!!
 
I updated itunes Tuesday night and new iPhone software updated then.
 
mines just mullered the phone during update, unknown error !!! :eek:

I hope restore works I have no time to mess about !

you're not kidding, i'm out of the country in a few hours and had loads of stuff on the phone for the trip :eek:

Last update broke mine. It got stuck in a reboot loop, even Apple couldn't sort it. As it was out of warranty by a month I had to buy another one.
 
Mine broke on the update to 3.0 grrr. Newer updates have been fine for me.
 
It seems to be ok albeit missing several important mails and notes containing my expedia details etc :suspect:

flickr and a few other aps actually work faster now though :thinking:

Cant see why your emails would have gone? Are you using iMap or Pop3?
 
Not entirely sure what could have happened to them either, they'd been sitting in my email inbox in 2 of the mail accounts I have on the phone and now they're gone :thinking:

I still have a copy on my laptop, so all is ok.
 
matt i can assure you that if it was my iphone that had bricked, brian would have been giving me kind words of encouragement also.

glad you got it fixed though Bri, have a spiffing trip!
 
Is it just bug fixes ? . I will have to wait a while as i jail broke mine a few weeks ago
 
Apple are sneaky, they use the updates to disable phones which have been jailbroken some times. No point in upgrading if like me you have jailbroken your phone.
Loads of apps for free, why would I update and make my phone slowwwww again?

Yea i should of done mine a year ago.
