Does anyone do this or has anyone tried?

I've had a go at tweeting an image or two at half time using my iPad and was wondering whether it's a realistic option for sending and, if so, and recommended apps for editing and FTP ing?

I use the apple camera add-on to connect my camera to the ipad, download only a selection of images then crop, straighten and tweak in an app called Filterstorm and then tweet them but I'm guessing there are plenty of FTP apps out there and exif editors to add in captions etc.

I suppose you wouldn't be able to do it Live but half time and at the end it may work.

Any thoughts?

Although enticing, it's more trouble than its worth. I did a write up on iPads for sports photography here.

That's a great write up and I agree on your comments regarding ThoughtsHD, Filterstorm and Photogenie, which I've used.

I did find it very time consuming, only able to tweet a couple of images during half time but I haven't got to the stage when I'm good enough that I need to send images off real time but a Mac Book Pro is on the shopping list ifI I ever get to that stage.

I was wondering whether there was some magical app to be able to use the iPad but it looks like it could be some way off.

Thanks again for your write up - answered all my questions :)
